MATTHEW 21:1-17

West Virginia NIT Champions Wear Misspelled T-Shirts
Friday, March 30, 2007

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Ouch! These T-shirts are hardly worthy of the NIT champions.
They say "West Virgina." That's right, no "i" before the "a."
The Mountaineers wore them anyway after their 78-73 victory over Clemson on Thursday night, their first NIT title in 65 years.WVU sports information director Shelly Poe said the NIT printed the shirts. Calls to tournament officials were not immediately returned Friday.
West Virginia coach John Beilein was heading to the Final Four in Atlanta on Friday and could not be reached for comment.

BACK IN OHIO

Well, we have arrived safely back in Ohio. I would have liked to have stayed longer with my parents, but bills have to be paid and a house has to be sold!! Although our hopes were up last week about a sale, if fizzled out just as fast! I guess we are still where God wants us. We continue to wait on Him to direct our path. We have many wonderful friends, and a great church in Ohio, but I think our heart is in Virginia. When we are there it seems harder each time to leave. With Aaron arriving soon, all the family will be back there and it will really get harder to leave. We might be doing more staying in VA than in OH, if it wasn't for that dreaded car ride! I almost finished a book today, and we seemed to make really good time, going RT. 33. You would really like it Billie!! Private joke there!! LOL

Hope to see my Ohio friends very soon. I have missed you girls!!!

BUSY BUSY!

We have been busy going back and forth to rehad to visit my Mom. My sister was here for a week and the time just fleeewwww by! My Mom continues to improve each day. She will have her staples out on Thursday and go home on Friday after going to the doctor. We are planning on staying until we see how well she does at home. She will have a home health nurse come and do physical therapy and check her coumadin levels, as she has to be on it for a while. Dad is hanging in there! He stays pretty much to his normal routine, which involves getting up before MY normal time!!!!!!!!! We were up at 6:45 this AM as he had to go have his coumadin levels checked!! Donnie continues to occupy himself on the golf course and in front of the NCAA tournament. He is icing his knee down when he isn't playing golf!! There are plenty of AEP retirees around here for him to play golf with. I am planning on meeting a friend for lunch on Wed. We continue to house hunt be haven't found anything we can live with..lol. Just need to get back and get ours back on the "official market" Aaron arrives in Roanoke on the 31st to begin his new job!! We are all excited even though we won't see him this trip.

SUNDAY

This is the day the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it!!
We got my Mom moved to the rehab center this AM. She continues to do well. She had a brief PT session this afternoon. Tomorrow is when she is really put to the test. Pray all goes well. My Dad is doing well. My sister, Linda, arrived today. She and I went to some open houses in the Roanoke area. Saw some promising properties. We will be back and forth to the rehab center this week and running errands for and with my Dad.

He will begin the end of MARCH!! Hard to believe that when we all get moved we will be in the same city and state. First time for us in almost 8 years!!!

My Mom is doing better with each day. She walked the halls this morning. Hopefully she will be going to rehab center on Sunday.

AND WE ARE OFF!!

Well, not until morning. I have packed and even loaded MY suitcase in the car! Man, how can one woman pack so much stuff!! Sure hope it doesn't get too warm in VA, only taking one pair of shorts!! HA! HA!. Hubby on the other hand has his most important things in the car, his golf clubs and golf shoes!! Man has to get his priorities straight!

Sounds like snow in the AM, so hopefully we can drive out of it quickly! Looks like highs 53-67 degrees the next week in the Star City. Sure am gonna hate that..NOT!
Keep us in your prayers!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLISON!!!!

Today, my baby turns the big 3-0!! She is ready for it..but I am not sure I am!! As they say, as you get older time flies!! Well, looks like it has flown out from under me! It doesn't seem possible it was that long ago!! We love you more every year!

Here is your birthverse.
Titus 3:5 NIV
He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
You are a child of God, His treasured possession. He created you in His own image. He chose the day for you to be born. He has a plan and a purpose for your life.

OPEN HOUSE

We just finished our second open house in as many weekends. We had a nice family stop by today. They have twins, boy and girl, who will be 4 this year. They are relocating from Cincinnati, and are living in temporary housing now. She really liked the house, but they are just beginning to look. So time will tell.

THE BEGINNING MARCH 3

And so it begins on another cold snowy day in OHIO. I have thought about doing this for some time, but just haven't done it. I mainly wanted to start after our move to VIRGINIA, but looks like that is on hold too! I guess we are still where God wants us for now. I am so very new at this, I don't know where to begin. So with that, I will go play and see what can be added.
